The work was created by applying gold leaf to an embossed wooden panel and then applying dried local flowers to represent life and growth.
 
The ‘Dark’ and ‘Light’ contemporary abstract works were created as a pair to represent polar opposites.  These pieces are both framed under non reflecting glass with frames complementary to each piece.  The frame size is the same for both pieces.
